周辺には風俗店が多く、一時は200を超えるの店舗が並んでいました。さらに駅東口からは「川口オートレース場」への無料バスが出るなど、ギャンブラーが集まる街としても有名で、決して良いイメージがある街ではありませんでした。しかし2000年代初頭の取り締まり強化により、風俗店が減少。それに代わって急増したのが、中国料理の飲食店だったのです。

Furthermore, from the east exit of the station, there is a free bus to the “Kawaguchi Auto Race Course”, and it is famous as a town where gamblers gather, and it was never a city with a good image. However, due to the tightening of the crackdown in the early 2000s, the number of brothels decreased. Instead, the number of Chinese restaurants has increased rapidly.
