非合法の色街、青線地帯の名残が息づく上野町（かみのまち）。日が落ちた19時30分頃、上野町を歩いたがスナックの灯りは消えていた。
上野町の青線地帯も潰れてしまったのか――。すがるような気持ちで、道行く地元住人に話をきいた。
「なんや兄ちゃん、まだやっとるよ上野町は。こんな早い時間じゃなくて1時間後にまた歩いたら。」
「遅い時間になったら灯りがポツポツとつくんよ。まあ、昔より店数は随分と減ったけどね。」
21時過ぎに再び訪れると、あるスナックの看板が点灯していた。今もなお南国の地に残る青線地帯、上野町を歩く。

Kamino-machi, where the remnants of the illegal red-light district and blue-light district still live on. Around 19:30 when the sun went down, I walked around Kamino-machi, but the light of the snack bar was off.
Has the blue line area of Ueno Town also been destroyed? Reluctantly, I listened to a local resident on the street.
